Beautiful material
RRUGGER (New York, NY) 1/30/2020 8:15 PM
Another great material that smells odd on its own, but develops wonderfully when notes recalling humid soil are required. It is not easy to work with, it takes time to liquify, but it's worth it. I diluted it in IPM in equal parts and it's remarkably strong, virtually no difference in smell from its solid state. It is a strong chemical that can make things smell, well, chemical, so it needs to be used in trace amounts, and along other powerful green and floral accords it shows its true character.
green moss growing on dank dirt
Parker Turtenwald (Olympia, WA) 10/10/2019 10:02 PM
Terranol - This smells like true green moss growing on the dirt in the damp shade. Literally, smells like if you rolled around in that moss. Not tree moss. Very much related to the type of smell of Geosmin, but shifted in a very different direction. I live in the Pacific Northwest, and during the cold wet season, sometimes when I go outside I can smell this in the air after it's been drizzling.
AMAZING! freshly pulled moss
Antonio Marvuglia (White Rock, BC) 1/14/2018 6:31 PM
This is an incredible aroma. It is all the best parts of being in a forest and pulling up a patch of healthy moist moss. Such a wonderful earthen, natural aroma. I can't believe this exists as a product. Instantly transports me to my childhood and all my time spent in forests in the Pacific North West. I can't wait to make an earthy accord based on this and geosmin.
