wilted rose aspect
Parker Turtenwald (Olympia, WA) 11/4/2019 5:40 PM
This is the part of rose in the smell of wilted rose. Or rose potpourri. It's not really the best aspect in the smell of rose. However, it's not entirely bad. As a young child phenylethyl alcohol was used as the carrier in my inhalable asthma medication, and one time I smelled the air tubes, that still had a residual odor in it, and just kept on sniffing. I remember it was kind of something that smelled good, but not really good, but made me want to keep smelling, sort of addictive. I get a fake but not unpleasant scented plastic smell from it, slightly sharp and alcohol "perfume". And phenylethyl alcohol is actually one (out of several) of the real odorants in the natural smell of rose.
