pungent intoxicating edible side of Ruby Red grapefruit

It may be useful to give a head to head comparison between Amarocite (Methyl Pamplemousse) and Pamplefleur. (These two are the closest to grapefruit out of all the synthetics sold on this site, I've smelled them all) While they are both "grapefruit", they are two completely different sides of grapefruit. Methyl Pamplemousse (MP) is in a much more of an exquisite "cardamom" direction than Pamplefleur, more fresh, beautiful like Javanol, almost lemon, whereas Pamplefleur is more pungent intoxicating edible side of grapefruit. Pamplefleur is in a far more ruby-red grapefruit, blood orange direction (at least in comparison to MP), more juicy than MP, almost a little grape (but only by comparison), slightly guava, maybe slight rubbery vetiver nuance beneath the juiciness. It seems to simulate the effect of grapefruit pungency with its rubbery-vetiver-grape-ruby citrus smell. Some might describe it as having a mouth-puckering rhubarb after note. I actually can detect this same sort of distinct smell from the skins of Ruby Red grapefruit. I think both MP and Pamplefleur would work syngergistically together. Pamplefleur certainly lasts much longer on a test strip than MP. I would use sparingly, Pamplefleur is very potent. I think Pamplefleur could also be used in the background to support and strengthen bergamot.

There aren't many chemicals readily available that are useful for constructing vetiver notes; this is one. Nice long-lasting grapefruit tartness - similar to methyl pamplemousse but a base not instead of top.
