pleasant, intriguing, beautiful woody/eucalyptus, mild
Parker Turtenwald (Olympia, WA) 11/23/2019 12:48 AM
Orspirane (Theaspirane) - like an exceptionally beautiful eucalyptus, with strangely some exquisite subtle berry-like aspects. Woody in a wonderful sort of way. Maybe the subtle woody aspect underlying the aroma of mango, but this is not in any other way mango. (If it was mango it would be a very dry mango, not fruity) It's not really harsh at all, more down to earth and a little subdued, sort of in the same way as the smell of tea. I also get some effect that almost feels like the underlying tonality in peppermint but not minty and not really cold at all. Slight camphor effect as well but this is not as cold as camphor, it's more pleasant. I'm going to have to say this is one of those exceptional aroma chemicals, 10 out of 10. I don't know how this could be used, but the way it smells I really want to find a use for it.
