If magical ingredients exist

I don't believe in magical, one-size-fits-all, one-trick-pony ingredients, but this one is close. Wow. I didn't dare to experiment in its purest form yet, but will so the next coming month, expect a 'honey scented' perfume formula in July on my blog perfume.sparla.com. What i did do however was experimenting with trace amounts (think 20mg of 1% diluted Honey Signature on a total of 2000 mg 100% perfume ingredients, eventually diluted to 12000 mg in perfumers alcohol) in my existing perfume compositions. That showed me the true beauty of this ingredient. It adds a new layer of depth when used in traces, without deforming the overall scent profile, subtly enhancing all sweet tones with a golden aura. This will be my magical 'je ne sais quoi' for many formulas to come. Now i've seen what it can do in trace amounts, i will start composing a perfume that has honey as a main theme. Can't wait... ;-) Very very highly recommended material!
