NOT DANGEROUS GOODS

DULCINYL. Extremely sweet odor reminding of raspberry, cotton candy (i.e. candy floss), blackberry jam with cassis, heliotrope associations. Dilution
by quantity not weight.

Notes from Andrea at  perfumechemicals.com
Mild smelling, sweet, fruity, long-lasting raspberry-like odour.
I was expecting some resemblance  with heliotropine (sweet, powdery floralcy), but this one has a quite different odour profile.

It has very much in common with raspberry ketone: it possesses a jammy, red fruit-like character. Somewhat dry and woody, not much powdery. Rose ketone nuance.

It should be interesting in jasmine imitation bases. As suggested by S. Arctander for raspberry ketone, I think that Dulcinyl would also fit very well in a synthetic jasmine composition, bringing a realistic and elegant fruity juiciness very characteristic of some absolutes.
In his work he reports some resemblance with “the sweet-floral notes in Mimosa and Cassie“. Interesting to note that this product is called “Cassione” by Firmenich.

A real 'sweetie'...
FrankieCee (Melbourne, FL) 8/5/2017 12:43 PM
Dulcinyl aka Heliotropyl acetone is a great material for building fantasy type or gourmand fragrances, as well as building floral notes and bases. A solid/powdery material, The Good Scents Company recommends smelling it at 10% to appreciate its full olfactory character. Fruity sweet with a raspberry character and heliotropine nuance, I use it neat...but sparingly.

Juicy, Sweet.

This one doesn't have much diffusion, but oh man is it delicious. It's got almost a sour, sugary type scent for me. Reminiscent of tart berry candies. I've found it work really nicely to add a bit of brightness and femininity to a fruity note.

Soft nice aroma

Nice for adding a touch of sweetness to fruity formulas without changing the balance.

Barely detectable!

I feel like something went wrong with this one—there's literally no odor, on a testing strip or on skin. It sounds very nice, but I get absolutely from it! I'll re-order just in case there was a problem with this batch.
