Citrus, grapefruit note also reminiscent of the dry notes of bitter orange oil and melon gardenia petal. Useful in colognes as a freshener to overcome the candy-sweet notes of orange and lemon oil.

Ruby Red grapefruit, distinct grapefruit-type bitterness

Juicy grapefruit, but more like Ruby Red grapefruit. definitely some grapefruit bitterness. a little bit of an acetone smell, nail polish remover. fairly sharp orange/tangerine smell, a little bit reminiscent of Orange Flower Ester
Maybe 3.4 out of 5 stars.
Even though I love the natural smell of yellow grapefruit, this is not really so much my thing, but this could be very useful for those wanting a certain type of Ruby Red Grapefruit, or possibly Pink Grapefruit smell. (Obviously you're going to need more than just this single fragrance chemical to create a decent grapefruit note)

Citrolate is very abstract. I'd say it smells like lemon. This is a kind of bittergreen citrus, very uplifting, and a little bit rosey like geranium. Bergamot aspects.
