Perfume Supplies and Mixing Equipment

The most important equipment in creating perfume is your nose. Like any of the senses, it’s easy to take for granted. The old proverb, “Stop and smell the roses” really applies to the time we live in now. We are going so fast we forget to take time to really stop and think about how a rose really smells. Try to be extra conscious of the way things smell. Remember to smell things like the banana or apple you eat in the morning, or the plants and flowers in your garden. Start smelling everything. Your friends and family might think you have lost it, but you will soon discover a world you have been insensitive to. Tuning your sense of smell will inspire your perfume creations. It takes trained perfumers years of olfactory training to know all the materials a perfumer has to work with and the affect they produce when combined.
