Sensual tenderness

Feel it as the younger sister of cashmeran. It smells like sleek skin. Maybe it's my personal perception, but I feel some floral nuances, like freesia. Quite a long time on the skin. Bought and forgot about it, and now it is the surprise of the day.

Incredibly beautiful, interesting and versatile. I'm glad I bought as much as I did. The name is very accurate!

I do not know the difference between this and the original Exaltolide, as I hadn't tried the latter, but if I have to say that the aroma of Exaltolide total is like the essence of feminine allure. If you want a musk that adds a very sensual and feminine aspect to your composition, you can't go wrong with this. This picture displayed is very fitting indeed.
Very nice material, similar to Exaltolide but adding its own properties

The same molecule, but with different purities and different mix of other materials present, is sold under different names. Exaltolide (Firmenich) is one of these, and is a fantastic product but very expensive. Exaltolide Total is a newer product by Firmenich which has lower but still high percentage of that molecule, with the other percentage contributing its own interesting properties. Firmenich says that replacing Exaltolide with Exaltolide Total can result in enhanced floralcy and so the less expensive product can even be preferable in some formulations. I found this to be true, while in others I prefer Exaltolide itself. I definitely recommend Exaltolide Total.
