Aroma Accords
These perfume Accords are super concentrated perfume bases.
1 ounce makes 16 to 32 ounces of perfume.
Each reflects a perfume family.
These aroma chemical blends are full strength and need dilution in a carrier oil, perfume diluent or alcohol.
Use 2 ounces or more diluent to 5 ml accord.
How to use aroma accords
The accords are not fragrance oils or notes.
They and must be diluted for perfume with perfume alcohol or a carrier oil base.
For Perfume:
Use as a base. The accords are comprised of mostly middle and base notes.
The
accords can be used alone or with the addition of other aroma chemicals, essential oils and aroma notes. Dilute with perfume alcohol or carrier oil.
Use Our Aroma Notes as additives to the Aroma Accords to make a well rounded perfume.
Body Products:
Use alone or with the addition of other aroma chemicals, essential oils and building blocks to make the scent uniquely your own.
You can dilute the accord with a carrier oil for body products or use very sparingly, drop by drop. These aromas are strong.
Soap: Use in cold process soaps or melt and pour soaps. The accords do not contain DPG, alcohol or other products that will accelerate tracing causing soap to set up quickly. This is only in hot or cold process soap not in melt and pour.
Candles, Incense, Room Sprays: the accords are great for candles incense and room sprays.
Perfumes can have many aroma ingredients, making it hard to have all the necessary combinations.The accords make it easier to make a great perfume in just a few steps.
The accords are strong concentrated aromas and must be
diluted with perfume alcohol or the carrier oil of your choice.
1 ounce of accord makes 16 to 32 ounces perfume
depending on your personal preference.
Try different combinations of accords by dropping drops
on a smell strip and smelling them together. Label the strip with the accord
name so you know whats what. Each strip should have its own accord. After you
choose the accords that you like together put those together on one strip.
To make a perfume from the accords pick one accord that
you want to be the dominant aroma.
